As for enrolling in a driving school, there's no minimum age for starting theoretical training. You can start training at the Association of Driving Schools even at age 16, while preparing for your future exams.
However, the age at which you can actually obtain your driving license depends on the vehicle category:
- From age 16 in Ukraine, you can obtain a Category "A1" license (for mopeds, scooters, and other two-wheeled vehicles with an engine capacity up to 50 cc or an electric motor up to 4 kW) and Category "A" (for motorcycles).
- A Category "B" license, which allows you to drive cars, can only be obtained once you reach the age of majority — that is, from age 18.
