To obtain a Category "B" driving license in Ukraine, you need to go through a clear sequence of stages that ensures proper preparation for a future driver:

• Theoretical training: First, you need to thoroughly study the traffic rules. You can do this at a licensed driving school, such as our Association of Driving Schools, where you'll get systematic knowledge and professional support. An alternative is self-study, although training at a driving school significantly increases your chances of success. • Theory exam at the MIA Service Center: After mastering the theoretical material, the next mandatory step is successfully passing the traffic rules theory exam at any territorial Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Practical driving course: After successfully passing the theory, you move on to practical lessons. You must complete a full driving course – a minimum of 40 hours – exclusively at an accredited driving school. It's important to remember that training with private instructors who aren't part of an official driving school does not qualify you for admission to the exams at the MIA Service Center. The "Association of Driving Schools" guarantees full compliance of training hours with all requirements.
• Internal exam and Certificate: After completing the practical course at the driving school, you take an internal driving exam. Once you pass it, you're issued a Certificate of Completion, which is the basis for admission to the final exam.
